Sabre Ease II (Schrader Valve)

The new Sabre Ease II portable and pipeline systems provide a compact, low resistance method of self administering Entonox™.

The EASE demand valve is constructed in a way that creates minimal breathing resistance to the patient and can deliver high flows when required. For greater user comfort, the Ease 11 is both smaller and lighter than the original Sabre Ease. The new ‘Easy Grip’ handle is another user friendly addition.

Sabre Ease Entonox

Sabre EASE is a range of complementary products designed for the effective self administration of the 50:50 gaseous mixtures of nitrous oxide and oxygen commonly known as Entonox™. EASE is designed to administer effective pain relief within a wide range of medical situations including, immediate care, general practice, general nursing and obstetrics.

EASE delivers Entonox™ upon demand and is designed to deliver a possible 300 litres per minute of gas with minimal inspiratory effort by the patient. The valve also contains a removable patient valve that houses the exhalation flap and anti contamination valve which can be removed and cleaned before replacement and re-use. EASE is fitted with a BS probe, which allows compatibility with the BOC CD system.

The carer can chose which way to administer the gas to their patient. Mouthpieces both minimise inspiratory resistance and the feeling of claustrophobia that can be felt with a facemask. A lightweight, ergonomic demand valve is easy for the patient to hold and specifically designed to prevent the exhale valve being blocked. This results in easier patient use and causing less stress and discomfort. EASE includes 3 metres of hose between the regulator and the demand valve making treatment of an entrapped casualty easier as the equipment does not have to be adjacent to the casualty.

Immediately the unit is switched on Entonox™ is delivered at 4 bar to the demand valve. The need for a low resistance hose is eliminated and the effects are therefore more rapidly available with the result that by the second breath 100% Entonox™ is delivered to the patient.
